As of today (March 18th, 2020), the Governor of Nevada has declared a 30-day moratorium on evictions.

The North Las Vegas Justice Court and Constable’s office are closed for evictions.

The Henderson Justice Court and Constable’s office are closed for evictions.

The Las Vegas Justice Court Administrator has mandated that, as of today, no notices are allowed to be served (including by the Constable) and no evictions will be filed until the moratorium has been lifted.

For evictions filed prior to today, no Orders will be executed and no lock outs will occur until the moratorium is lifted. How to process those evictions will be evaluated by the Court at that time.

Information is being changed and disseminated as it occurs.

Hearings that have already been scheduled for today’s date and after will be vacated and rescheduled after the moratorium has been lifted.

Although NMI will be monitoring the situation, we will be closed until we are allowed to get back to business by the state.

CURRENT INFORMATION CAN BE OBTAINED AT http://lasvegasjusticecourt.us OR BY CALLING LAS VEGAS JUSTICE COURT AT 702-671-3478 (PRESS 4 FOR LANDLORD EVICTION INFORMATION).

PLEASE NOTE: THE LAWS REGARDING ILLEGAL LOCKOUTS AND REFUSAL TO ALLOW RETRIEVAL OF TENANT’S PERSONAL EFFECTS WILL STILL BE ENFORCED!
